Branfman Law Group, P.C. provides a wide variety of legal and business services for the music industry. They run the gamut from writing, reviewing and negotiating contracts to protecting and helping to exploit the intellectual property which is the heart of the business.

Our clients include record labels, recording and performing artists, songwriters, talent agents, managers, concert promoters, recording studios, and production companies.

We have specific experience in negotiating on behalf of recording artists and songwriters with record labels, publishing companies, agents, managers and producers; conversely we have represented record labels and have developed standard form agreements for them. When necessary, we litigate on behalf of our clients.

We also were a founder of the Music Division of the San Diego Film Commission and have spoken on the subject at such music industry events as The Independent Music Seminar.
